This project is a addition to my monthly organized 2-day workshop and is meant as a little highlight of the year for my students and singers whom I may accompany in their singing career. It is already a mile step to open up to something new in the teaching and even more if you manage to leave your comfort zone in front of an audience. Just like last year, we are looking forward to an exciting evening and a great experience together!

From the 15th to the 29th of July 2018 I led and taught the summer course in cooperation with Neil Semer in the beautiful, historical city of Meissen. The international group consisted of talented professional singers and voice students from Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Norway, England, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, USA, Canada and Australia. The program included intensive singing lessons, as well as coaching of internationally renowned accompanists, acting classes, audition trainings, and four concerts in magnificent locations: opening concert in the castle Proschwitz, castle Zabeltitz, ballroom in Adams Gasthof in Moritzburg and final concert in the town hall in Meissen.

« I had the pleasure of working with Lucja for two weeks in July 2018, when she organized and taught at the Summer Academy in Meissen.
Lucja is a warm and supportive teacher who brings new aspects to your voice in a short space of time. Of course, she is able to draw upon her own experience to help a singer who is still in transition between fachs, which was of particular interest to me. I was very impressed with the work that she did in strengthening my middle voice and helping me negotiate my passagio. Since the course I have found it easy to recall and to implement what we studied - I think this is a strong indicator of good pedagogy.
Apart from her technical expertise, she is engaging and friendly, a great communicator with a sense of humor that is clear in whatever language she is using! All this while ensuring that a two-week course with twenty singers, five staff and four concerts runs extremely smoothly and pleasurably.
I recommend her most highly. »
Sybille Specht-Phillipin (Germany / mezzo-soprano)
« Lucja's singing lessons are highly inspiring for me on all levels: mentally, emotionally and physically I get inspired by her to get out of myself, which I did not think was possible. »
Sara Schabas (Canada / soprano)
« Working with Lucja is like balm for the busy singer. She is able to diagnose technical problems within seconds of hearing you sing and she provides
effective ways to work on these issues. She has a huge variety of exercises one can use to work on their own time, and deeply cares about one's progress.
Lucja also encourages students in ways that are deeply meaningful. She has a huge amount of experience in this career, both as an artist and a person. Working
with Lucja renews a singer, equipping them with the mental, spiritual and technical strength to continue pursuing this career and to never give up. I am so
grateful to have worked with her. »
Vanessa Fodil (France / mezzo-soprano)
« I had lessons with Lucja in the Sommer Akademie NSVI in Meissen.
I appreciated her quick diagnosis and the accurate work we did. She was encouraging and insisted gently in giving me fundamental tools I could work alone with.
I valued her technical knowledge and I felt also well advised by a truly experienced opera singer. »
